All pupils take reading and spelling tests at the beginning of each academic year and reading, maths and SPAG tests at key points in the year. In addition, during the school year, teachers make assessments of children’s achievement in the normal course of teaching and learning, to cover the full range of the National Curriculum, including writing.

In Year 6, at the end of Key Stage 2, pupils take part in the End of Key Stage Statutory Assessments in Mathematics, Reading and Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation, to enable teachers and parents to assess whether pupils are reaching the considered national standards. Please note the results below are from 2018/2019, SATs tests were cancelled in 2019/20 and 2020/21 due the COVID 19 pandemic.

2018 - 2019 Results

We were delighted with our end of key stage 2 results for the academic year 2018 to 2019, and once again, they reflect the hard work, commitment and dedication of all our wonderful pupils and staff.

Below, are our pupils' results, which show that they have achieved well above the national average in all areas. We are, as always, proud of the percentage of pupils who have achieved the expected standard and higher standard in all areas.
