Maths Back
We aim to give all children the opportunity to understand and appreciate relationships involved in:
using and applying mathematics;
number;
shape, space and measures;
handling data;
developing logical thinking.
Activities are balanced between tasks that develop knowledge, skills and understanding and those that require children to solve problems. Children are taught maths everyday and are grouped in ability sets. A variety of resources are used for the teaching of mathematics.
