About Us
Dunchurch Boughton C of E Junior School is situated in a peaceful location in Dew Close, Dunchurch. The present building was opened in April 1974. Previously, the school had been a Church of England Junior and Infant School in the premises now occupied by Dunchurch Infant School.
The school is within easy walking distance of all parts of Dunchurch and is easily accessible to families living in the villages of Birdingbury, Broadwell, Willoughby, Flecknoe, Grandborough, Leamington Hastings, Bourton and Thurlaston. School buses are provided by the LEA. (Please phone 01926 410410 for details)
Situated in a rural area, the school also enjoys extremely large playing fields, two playgrounds and a wild area, providing a delightful environment where exciting opportunities exist for the educational and allround development of pupils.

Our school has a Christian foundation, and the principles embodied in the Christian faith form the ethos of the school. Whilst no child is refused admission on religious grounds, it should be understood by parents that the Head teacher, staff and Governors are anxious to encourage the Christian faith at all levels, in the life of the school, reflecting its Christian heritage.
Most importantly, Dunchurch Junior School provides a hardworking, happy, yet welldisciplined environment with a highly committed staff.
Children normally join us in the September of the school year, after reaching seven years of age.
We enjoy close links with our feeder schools, as we consider good liaison essential if continuity is to be maintained.
At the age of eleven, pupils will transfer to one of the selective or nonselective
secondary schools. There is
an effective programme of liaison between all schools
