A note from the Headteacher

Dunchurch Boughton Church of England Junior School is a very special place to be and has seen many changes since the first school was built in the village nearly 300 years ago.

We currently have 265 children on roll and the school caters for children aged 7-11.

We are all very proud of our school and work together to provide the best education we can. We always seek to make the best provision in every area of the curriculum and have been awarded “Healthy School” status for our curriculum and arrangements for promoting healthy eating, healthy lifestyles, and for promoting children’s wellbeing and safety. We received the Artsmark gold award for having an excellent Arts curriculum, the Activemark award for achievement in sport and the International school award for links and work with schools overseas. In addition our work in maths, English and science reaches standards well above the national average.

Like most websites this one is hopefully a good source of information as well as increasingly showing parents, grandparents, friends and the wider community what an excellent school Dunchurch is.

We are intending to develop our site with opportunities for our pupils to view their work on line, and help others to share in some of the excellent moments we have in school each day.
